About cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a short text file that the site you are visiting places in your browser; it lets the site remember a setting or a decision you have made. Browsers provide similar mechanisms, in particular local storage, which keeps small entries until they are removed. This policy treats them in the same way.
Withdrawing your consent and deleting cookies
Changing your mind is simple: remove the stored data of this website in your browser settings and reload a page, and the previous answer is replaced by a new one the next time you are asked. Browsers also let you manage cookies for one site or for all of them, usually in their privacy settings.
Which cookies this website uses
buzzynex.com presents information and contact details; it has no user accounts and no online shop, so very few entries are needed. Strictly necessary entries keep the pages working and secure, including any value that records your answer to a cookie notice, and they do not require consent.
One of these entries is a cookie set by the server that delivers the pages. It holds a random identifier, no name or contact details, and lets the server recognise a browser that comes back, so that one visit is handled as one and automated misuse can be turned away. It is renewed with each visit and expires 30 days after the last one.
Advertising, tracking and personal data
We use no advertising cookies, no marketing pixels and no trackers that follow visitors to other websites, and information from your visit is not sold or passed on for advertising. Where it can be related to a person, our privacy policy explains the legal bases, the storage periods and your rights.
How your choice is recorded
Where this website shows a cookie notice, it appears on the first visit with one button to accept and one to decline. Your answer is then kept as a single value in the local storage of that browser (localStorage), and the notice sets no cookie of its own. In another browser, on another device or where storage is blocked, it is shown again.
How long entries are stored
Session entries disappear when the browser window is closed, while others are given a set lifetime so that a preference survives until you come back. The answer saved by the cookie notice does not expire and remains until you or your browser remove it.
Changes and contact
We review this policy when the website changes, when functions are added and when legal requirements develop; only the version published here applies, and the date above shows when it was last revised. Questions about it can be sent to buzzynex at hello@buzzynex.com, or asked by telephone on 01463 495 259.
