Privacy Policy
How personal data is handled on this website and which rights you have.
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This privacy policy explains how buzzynex (buzzynex.com) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, and limit data collection to what is needed to run the site and answer your requests.
1. Controller and scope of this policy
Responsibility for the information collected on buzzynex.com lies with buzzynex, 14 Harbour Road Business Court, Inverness IV1 1SF, United Kingdom. Whoever has a question about this notice, or about data we may hold, can write to hello@buzzynex.com or call 01463 495 259.
2. Purposes and legal grounds
We use data to keep this website online and safe, to reply to the messages we receive, to prepare and carry out agreements with clients and to keep the records our business requires.
Depending on the case, the basis is your consent, the performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into one, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in a secure website. Without the details we ask for, we may be unable to reply.
3. Cookies
This website uses only technically necessary storage. We do not set advertising cookies, and no analytics service records how you move through our pages or links your visit to other websites.
You can see which entries this website has stored, delete them and refuse new ones at any time in the settings of your browser. Blocking storage that the pages need may mean that parts of the site no longer work.
4. Service providers and transfers abroad
Personal data is never traded. Access is limited to the technical service providers that run our hosting and mail systems, who process data on our behalf under a written contract, and to public bodies where disclosure is required.
Some of the providers we work with may keep or process data in another country. When that happens, the transfer takes place only with the safeguards that the rules on data protection require for it.
5. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as statutory retention periods require. After that it is deleted or the reference to a person is removed.
Server logs are held by our hosting provider for a short period and are then removed automatically. Correspondence stays with us while the matter is open and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you come back to the same question.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to receive your data in a portable format. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
To use these rights, send a request to hello@buzzynex.com or to our postal address. We may ask for details that allow us to identify you, so that data does not reach the wrong person, and we answer within the period the law provides.
Besides contacting us, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.
7. Data we collect
When you open a page, our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, the requested page, the date and time, the browser type and the referring page. These server logs help us keep the site secure and are deleted after a short period.
Messages sent through the contact form or by email, together with your name, the address we should reply to and any details you add yourself, are kept for as long as it takes to handle the matter you wrote about.
8. Data security
Technical and practical safeguards protect the data we hold against loss, alteration and access by people who are not entitled to it. Where your browser supports it, the connection to this website is encrypted.
No transfer of data over the internet can be made entirely safe, so a residual risk remains. Inside buzzynex, messages are read only by the people who deal with them.
9. Amendments to this notice
This policy is revised when our processing or the applicable rules change. The current text is always available here, and the date at the top of the page shows when it was last amended.
Changes are not announced one by one, so it is worth looking at this page from time to time. If a change affects processing that rests on your consent, we ask for that consent again first.
